Lunedo is free and will stay that way. Core features — discovering games, managing your collection, opening packs, collecting figures — remain free permanently. If there are ever optional extras, you won't miss anything without them.

Honestly? Not yet — and that's fine for now. Our plan is to build a real community first. After that, we're thinking about partnerships with publishers and content creators. A new pack appears in the app regularly — just open it and see what's inside. You receive random figures, dice and tokens. How often a new pack is waiting is shown directly in the app.

Common figures appear more often — they form the foundation of your collection. Unique figures are rarer and have special designs. Both types can be upgraded by collecting duplicates.

Every duplicate counts! The more of a figure you collect, the more it develops — new visual effects, a special glow, and eventually companion clones appear. We call this the stage system.

Right now your figures live in the app as 3D renderings — you can rotate them, read their story, and sort them in your collection. Whether and when they'll also exist in wood or resin, we'll decide together with the community.

No. The figures are their own characters — you can collect them without owning a single one of the games. If a game interests you, we'll show you where to find it.

No. The collecting system is purely for fun — no marketplace, no pay-to-win. Everything you get, you earned through the app.

We maintain our own game database, which we expand continuously. The focus is on board games available in German-speaking markets — with descriptions, images, age ratings, player count and more.

The database grows continuously. New games — especially new releases and award-winning titles — are added regularly.

In the app you can submit game suggestions or report errors directly. We review every report and try to update the database as quickly as possible.

We mark winners and nominees of the Spiel des Jahres, Kennerspiel des Jahres and Kinderspiel des Jahres awards. At a glance you can see which games have been recognised by the jury.

In Discover mode you see games as a stack of cards — like a card game. Swipe right if a game sounds interesting, or left if it's not for you. You get to know new games without having to search for long.

Skipped games won't appear again in Discover mode — keeping the stack fresh so you always see new suggestions. In the game browser and your saved filter rows they're still visible.

Yes. Before starting you can filter by player count, play time, age range, release year, awards and themes — so you only see games that really suit you.

Tap on a game and then the shelf icon. The game goes straight into your collection. You can create multiple shelves and sort your games as you like — by genre, occasion or player count.

The heart icon saves games you'd like to buy. The wishlist is separate from your collection and shown as its own row on the Discover page so you always have it in view.

Yes! You can share both your collection and your wishlist as a link — just tap "Share" in the app. Whoever opens the link sees the list directly in the browser — no app needed.

You can create custom filter rows on the Discover page — for example "Short games for 2" or "Enthusiast games from 12+". These rows appear on the start page and show matching games at a glance.

Tap "+ Save filter" on the Discover page, set your criteria and give the row a name. It appears in your feed immediately. You can edit, reorder or delete existing filters at any time.

You can save up to 10 custom filter rows.

No. Lunedo works completely without registration. Your collection, your figures and your settings are stored locally on your device.

No — and that applies to the future too. Even if we ever store more data, we will never sell it or use it for advertising. That was never part of our business model. Currently we only store a device ID for push notifications and community features like voting — everything else lives locally on your device.

Your local data (collection, figures, settings) is removed when you delete the app. As we have no mandatory account, there's nothing to delete on a server.

Only if you agree to it. We use push notifications to let you know when a new pack is waiting or there's news. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Lunedo is a native app for iPhone, iPad and Android. For the best experience we recommend a current operating system.

Partly. Your collection and already loaded game images are available offline. For new games, packs and current content you need an internet connection.

Some updates are mandatory to keep the app working correctly. Just open the App Store or Google Play and install the latest version — you'll be up and running straight away.
